Santorini is the island that enchants young and old alike.... how could it not, since its beauty cannot be found elsewhere. This volcanic island with its black colour from the petrified lava and the most famous sunset has been called the "black pearl of the Aegean"!
Our journey starts from your base. Early in the morning we pick you up from your hotel or close to your hotel with our bus and take you to the port of Rethymnon from where the boat leaves.
The ferry departs 8:00 from Rethymno. The journey takes two hours and the ferry arrives at 10:40. At the exit of the ship, the attendants with SEAJETS costumes and bus number tags will greet the guests and help them to board the correct buses.
First Stop: Oia Thereafter, the coaches depart for Oia. On days when there is increased traffic, the coaches follow another route via the beach, east of the island. Depending on the traffic in Oia and the time still available, they will stay there for about 1 ½ hours. The bus then departs for the next stop, Fira.
Second Stop: Fira During the route the participants will hear interesting information from their guide about the history and geography of the island, crossing a large part of it by road. After arriving in Fira, they will stay for 1 hour, and accompanied by a guide, they will enjoy the Cycladic view of the Caldera rim, the cobbled alleys and the old small houses.
Afterwards, the visitors will meet at the Metropolis of Fira, where the escorts will inform them about the rest of the tour:
- Option 1: Go to the black sand beach of Perissa for swimming and lunch.
- 2nd option : Transfer to the Volcano of Santorini (extra charge 16€). Guests will enjoy the beauty of the volcano and those who wish will be able to swim in the hot springs.
- 3rd option? More free time & stay in Fira for those who wish.Finally, guests will return to the ship, where they will be able to enjoy the view of the Cretan and Aegean Sea on board.
The boat departs from Santorini around 17:15 and arrives in Rethymno at 20:00.
When you arrive at the port, our bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
